Two Cats Imports is a Portland, Oregon based importer of Japanese wines. We specialize in tiny producers looking to share their wines with thoughtful wine bars, retail shops and restaurants in the US. Our focus is on vigneron-- grower-producers-- who work the vines in a way that sustains or regenerates the environment. We value transparency, integrity and beauty in practice and in wine.

We believe that Japanese wine has an interesting story to tell. Unique hybrid varieties, creative approaches to viticulture and vinification, an 800-year history of winemaking, and a distinctly Japanese aesthetic sensibility together give rise to a compelling wine culture.

In typical millennial fashion, our career backgrounds are varied. Culinary, operations, sales, sake, wine, hospitality, insurance, publishing. What happened was, in 2020 we tasted some deeply inspiring things and met some really incredible people and wanted to talk about it. Then we never stopped talking about it.
